We’ve recently introduced oral health checklists here at Shelbourne.
We want our patients to know just how thorough we are when we are examining them.
With this in mind, we now provide every patient with a printed summary of their dental health check-up. The printout lists the 20 items we will routinely check when we examine our patients. This would include such things as a Mouth Cancer Screening check.
Each checked item is colour coded and graded appropriately as we carry out the assessment. At the end of the visit, the patient is provided with the report which they can take home with them.
We of course also provide patients with a printout of any proposed treatment and it’s costs.
We hope this will be a useful tool for all new and existing patients here at Shelbourne!
