Patient Registration
At your appointment, our reception team will confirm your contact information and insurance policy details (if you have them) with you.

Comprehensive Dental Examination
You will then meet with one of our dentists and nursing team who will conduct a thorough examination of the current health of your teeth and gums; they will take careful note of any existing fillings and fixtures that you may have; they will take appropriate low dose digital x-rays and intra-oral photographs.

Screening and Treatment Planning
For every patient, our dentists will also be screening for more serious dental conditions such as oral cancer, advanced gum disease (periodontitis) and any infections that may be present. Doing this allows our team to gain an overall picture of your current dental health and to tailor a treatment plan that addresses your needs and concerns.

Advanced Dental Scanning
In cases where an implant surgery is being planned, we will also usually require taking a digital cone beam (CBCT) scan of the area to be treated. For cases where Invisalign braces are being considered, Dr. Carla Hayes will take a digital 3D scan of the teeth, gums and bite with our Trios Intraoral Scanner.

Open Discussion of Dental Concerns
We encourage our patients to openly discuss their dental queries and expectations with us. Your dental appointment is the perfect opportunity to ask us about any dental treatments or concerns you may have.
